CHALLENGE

In various areas of this world class facility, the client presented Kay + Sons with a multitude of shading challenges throughout. These areas included seminar rooms with sloped glass, dance studios, auditoriums, administrative areas and public spaces. Each of these areas required a different solution from automated solar shades, sloped non standard shades and draperies.

ACTION

Kay + Sons surveyed the project and proposed a “master plan” perspective providing effective solutions for each area while incorporating products that protect the long term investment of the client.

RESULT

The Kimmel Center opened its doors, on time, and to the rave reviews of their patrons. The aesthetic appearance of the products we installed significantly contributed to the “experience” and comfort of being in the space and at the same time these products reduced their long term operating and maintenance costs.
